Background

This was a presentation I gave for my Honors Philosophy class at Marquette University. The presentation was a “Snapshot” presentation, where I needed to tie my own personal interest in a topic from class.

I chose to talk about Chimamanda Adichie’s TED Talk on “The Single Story”. HERE is a link to that TED Talk. Specifically relating to this talk, I wrote about animation being a medium that could break “The Single Story”, because it is a medium not limited to reality.

This project led me to do a small study of my surroundings in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I created some watercolor artwork of what I saw and modeled a 3D material based on Milwaukee Cream City Brick
